What is an MTG buyback?
An MTG buyback is a card dealer offering you a price for cards you already own. The big national buyback services (Card Kingdom, Star City Games, Channel Fireball) all work the same way: you fill out an online form, get an offer, ship the cards, wait a week or two for inspection, and finally get paid. The price is competitive on rares and singles, but you eat shipping, you wait, and bulk usually gets rejected entirely.
A local MTG buyback in Eugene, Springfield, or Glenwood works differently. I come to you, look at the cards, count them in front of you, and pay cash that day. I take bulk, sealed product, and old collections too.
